We
differ from the traditional retailer in a major way.
We do
not maintain a showroom or a sales staff. We don’t
have to pay for floor models, sales commissions, or retail
sales space. We keep much of our product line in stock,
so your furniture can arrive at your door within ten days
of payment confirmation. Most retail stores have floor samples,
but very little inventory and must order your items from
the factory when you place your order, causing you to wait
eight to twelve weeks for delivery. Also, our employees
are here to help you make the decision that is right for
you, so you will never feel pressure to purchase at a particular
time or price since we do not operate on commission. We
are open 24 hours a day, and our furniture is patiently
waiting for you to come by at your convenience. Whether
you have a moment to log on at lunch, at two in the morning
with a baby on your lap, or during your midnight snack,
we are always here.
We also differ from most Internet furniture companies as
well:
Many
Internet furniture companies operate in much the same way
as your local or chain retailer. They carry a large variety
of furniture lines, and only order items as you order them,
causing long wait times and higher prices. Many of them
require that you call in for a quote, and their prices are
typically much higher than ours on the same or similar items.
We operate differently. We are not reliant on manufacturer
names, and offer high quality furniture from select manufacturers
whom we do not reveal. This way, we get better pricing,
can display our products and pricing online, and can import
items directly, or purchase large quantities domestically
and pass the savings on to you.
Our
delivery options are also different. Most internet companies
have a typical delivery time of six to eight weeks. We have
a variety of delivery options to save you the most money.
Everyone hates to spend money on delivery, so we have created
a dynamic rating system, through which you are given the
least expensive rate from our range of carriers, or with
delivery on our own trucks. You will get the best service
and transit times in the industry. Most items ship the same
week you pay for them, and are delivered to your door within
five business days later. Some areas even have next day
delivery! You will be notified when your item(s) ship, and
an estimated transit time.
We are committed to offering you the best service in the
industry. We do our best to anticipate your questions and
offer all of the information that you could need about a
particular product and even offer FAQ's about most products.
If you have any questions, you will receive a response via
email or phone call usually within 24 hours. You will never
sit on the phone on hold because we don't take phone calls
except by appointment. If you wish to speak with a consultant
about your order, you simply send us a request with a time
frame to reach you, and someone will return your call. Many
times, you will get the president of the corporation on
the phone. Other times, you will get a highly trained representative
who has both extensive knowledge of our merchandise, as
well as design know-how. Your service begins when you log
on to our site, and ends when your furniture is in your
home and you are satisfied with it. We make it our business
to make you happy.
We disclose to the best of our knowledge what our furniture
is made of and don't rely on you to ask as many other retailers
do. We only carry high quality furniture that is constructed
with stringent standards. Most of our furniture is solid
wood or solid wood with wood veneers. We do not have sales,
but will occasionally run special offers because we were
able to get special pricing on particular items. Our prices
are as low as they get. If you can find a lower price on
the same item from a legitimate source, we advise you to
purchase it there, because they are giving you the best
deal around.
