We do not maintain a showroom or sales staff that traditional
retailers require. We also buy our furniture in large
quantity so that we can offer you the best price. Our
mark up is much lower than your average furniture store
or internet retailer because we wish to offer you a quality
product at a fair price.
We
only sell high quality solid wood and fine veneered furniture
with few exceptions and disclose to the best of our knowledge
the construction of each product. Many furniture stores
and internet businesses carry items that are made of manufactured
wood, fiber board, and printed surfaces to look like wood,
but we do not offer inferior product, and do not rely
on you to ask about the construction. All of our furniture
is built to last and is constructed of the finest materials
using time honored furniture manufacturing principles.
We disclose the construction of each item on the item
description page. This information is given to us by the
manufacturer and is true and accurate to the best of our
knowledge. top

Hickory Creek offers you several options in receiving
your furniture order. If you are within our delivery area,
we will bring the furniture to your home on one of our
own trucks and one of our drivers will bring it into the
house and will even set it up for you if you choose this
option. Fees are determined by where you live and the
size of your order. If you wish to pick up your furniture,
you may do so for a nominal fee ($25) by appointment.
For our customers that are outside of our delivery area,
we ship via freight carrier weekly. We have chosen a select
group of the best freight carriers in the business with
the least expensive rates and most professional staff.
Our freight carriers offer a range of delivery options
from standard delivery to a commercial address to residential
delivery with inside service and liftgate.We also offer
white glove delivery service with in home delivery and
set up. If you are interested in white glove delivery,
please inquire about it prior to placing an order. top

We have to maintain agreements with our manufacturers
to be able to sell for so much less than retail. We are
not allowed to divulge the names of our manufacturers
online. Otherwise, we would have to sell at the suggested
retail price like everyone else. We use manufacturers
that have fine reputations for quality and excellence
and offer versatile products at a reasonable price.
Also, we do not believe that it is an honorable practice
to give out product information for you to view items
locally and purchase them from us to save money. Retailers
with showrooms offer a legitimate product at a higher
price because you have the ability to view a sample of
their product. top

Since we offer such high quality furniture at discount
prices, we are not able to maintain a showroom for you
to view sample products and floor models. We disclose
the construction of our merchandise and offer detailed
photos of each item so that you can make an informed decision
about your purchase, and offer a return option if you
are not pleased with your purchase. We will not give out
information for you to view the same items at a store,
as we feel that this is a dishonest practice. If you must
view an item before purchasing, then internet and catalog
ordering is not for you. We advise you to go to a local
furniture store and purchase your furniture at a higher
price, as they must charge more for that type of service.
We do offer in home demonstrations of merchandise by appointment
in our local area. If you are interested in setting up
an appointment, please contact us via email for details.

All in stock merchandise ships, is delivered, or is available
for pick up within seven days of payment confirmation.
The average transit time for shipped items is three to
five business days. Most of our furniture is in stock
and available for immediate shipment. If an item is delayed
for any reason, you will be notified by customer care
immediately following order placement. If an item is delayed,
and you wish to cancel prior to shipment, you will receive
a full refund. Custom upholstery and special order items
may require a non-refundable deposit. Your customer care
representative will discuss delivery with you. top

Absolutely. We guarantee our
product to be free of damage or defect. If your item is
defective, simply let us know within fourteen days of
receipt of goods, and we will replace the damaged item
(provided it is in stock) on our next ship day.
If your item
is damaged during transit, simply let your driver know at the time
of delivery and have him mark the damage on your delivery receipt
prior to signing for your merchandise, then contact our customer care
center with your information within five days of receipt of merchandise,
and we will replace the damaged item on our next ship day.

Yes.
Due to all that is involved in shipping furniture, we
advise you to be as sure as you can before placing an
order, but if you decide to return an item, you may do
so at your expense. As long as it is received in the same
condition that it was shipped to you, we will refund the
entire purchase price less the original shipping costs.
If you wish to return an item, you must contact customer
care within thirty days of receipt of goods and obtain
a return ticket. Special order and custom merchandise
is not returnable, but is labeled as such when you place
your order. top

If your order total is $5,000 or more, you will need to
contact a customer care representative for special pricing.
The more you buy from us, the more you save.
Yes.
If you purchase a furniture item from us and refer someone
to our site, and he/she makes a furniture purchase, you
will receive a $50 credit toward a future furniture purchase
provided that your name was provided to us as a referral.
There is no limit to how many referrals you can accrue,
so spread the word and get free furniture!
